Dear church family:
Our family picture is many years too old now. We will update it soon.
Your prayers have made all the difference in the world to us and to our team. Without your continued prayers and support and the Father’s Spirit poured out, this work could have never accomplished what it has these past six years. Almost 1,000 baptisms for the faith and hundreds if not thousands helped in humanitarian aid given from around the world. For us this is a miracle, and it has been exciting to be a part of God’s workings in all this.
Watching the news should alert us that the 11th chapter of Daniel is almost fulfilled, and we need to awaken out of our slumber and get busy being “GoBeDoers” of the word now. Soon we will be doing our work under extreme conditions and lack of financial means.
Once again we want to remind you that although our heavenly Father could have used angels to evangelize the world, He has chosen us–you and me–and that this is not just a duty, but also a privilege, working for the Master in sharing HIS love toward mankind.
From inspired writings, we read:
“As His representatives among men, God does not choose angels who have never fallen, but human beings, men of like passions with those they seek to save. Christ took humanity that He might reach humanity. A divine-human Savior was needed to bring salvation to the world. And to men and woman has been committed the sacred trust of making known ‘the unsearchable riches of Christ’ ” (AA, 134.2).
“The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecy of the eleventh chapter of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place” (9T, 14.2).
“Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof…. Because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate…. The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth” (Isaiah 24:1-8).
God bless,
Mike, Michelle & Kids Cordes
