Greetings, brethren:

My house is a house of prayer for all people.

My house is a house of prayer for all people.

What six years ago began as a simple step of faith has grown into a full-time personal ministry, reaching, teaching and baptizing almost 1,000 souls into the faith in some of the most rugged and feared territory known to the Philippines.

Over the years we have been approached by military, government officials and even many in the organized church asking us why, why we would travel these mountains and continue to risk our lives for the sake of the gospel, and our only response is this:

Our heavenly Father is not a respecter of persons, and all are candidates for the Kingdom.

Everyone is a candidate for heaven

As we are told in the Bible:

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him” (Acts 10:34, 35).

Romans 2:11 says: “For there is no respect of persons with God.”

Jesus Christ (Yeshua), the only begotten Son of the almighty heavenly Father (Yehovah), has laid down His life for each one of us in hopes of us accepting to follow HIM and gain eternal life.

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16).

HE has become our best friend, and we just want to share HIS love with others. He has told us that ALL people are candidates for HIS kingdom and none need be excluded. HE has the power to change even the most savage human being into the softest and most usable instrument in spreading the message of salvation to others, and we want to invite all of you to join us in the saving of precious souls in these mountains of Mindanao in the South Philippines.

One of our favorite verses describing this concept can be found in the book of Isaiah:

“Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people” (Isaiah 56:7).

Of course open sin that is not repented of can exclude a person from these promises, and that is why as Christians we teach that it is important to confess and repent of sin and then turn away from those sins that cause separation between us and our Creator.

“Come with your whole heart to Jesus. Repent of your sins, make confession to God, forsake all iniquity, and you may appropriate to yourself all His promises. ‘Look unto me, and be ye saved,’ is His gracious invitation” (5T, p. 634).

“What must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30). The answer was, “Repent, and be converted, that your sins may go beforehand to judgment, and be blotted out.”

Do you have shame, guilt and condemnation that you are carrying around for past or present sins? If you do, repent and be saved! It is the devil that stands near and condemns you after Christ has covered you with HIS blood.

Consider these thoughts from inspiration:

You are a sinner. You cannot atone for your past sins. You cannot change your heart and make yourself holy. But God promises to do all this for you through Christ. You believe that promise. You confess your sins and give yourself to God. You will to serve Him. Just as surely as you do this, God will fulfill His word to you. If you believe the promise–believe that you are forgiven and cleansed–God supplies the fact; you are made whole, just as Christ gave the paralytic power to walk when the man believed that he was healed. It is so if you believe it.

Do not wait to feel that you are made whole, but say, “I believe it; it is so, not because I feel it, but because God has promised.”

Henceforth you are not your own; you are bought with a price. “Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold… but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18, 19). Through this simple act of believing God, the Holy Spirit has begotten a new life in your heart. You are as a child born into the family of God, and He loves you as He loves His Son.

If you give yourself to Him, and accept Him as your Saviour, then, sinful as your life may have been, for His sake you are accounted righteous. Christ’s character stands in place of your character, and you are accepted before God just as if you had not sinned.

Put away the suspicion that God’s promises are not meant for you. They are for every repentant transgressor. Strength and grace have been provided through Christ to be brought by ministering angels to every believing soul. None are so sinful that they cannot find strength, purity and righteousness in Jesus, who died for them.

All are called to do service for Him, and for the manner in which they have met this claim, all will be required to render an account at the great judgment day.

Satan is “the accuser of the brethren,” and it is his spirit that inspires men to watch for the errors and defects of the Lord’s people, and to hold them up to notice, while their good deeds are passed by without a mention. He is always active when God is at work for the salvation of souls. When the sons of God come to present themselves before the Lord, Satan comes also among them.

When we are baptized, fully understanding the marriage (covenant) we are agreeing to, it becomes so much easier to understand the truths in the word of God and it becomes a privilege to become co-laborers with the Creator of all the universe.

We have been advised to be more than hearers of the word. We have been ask to be “GoBeDoers,” so let’s get ‘er done (James 1:22). Amen.
